On the left of your screen will appear a large image of the art piece. A "landscape" image is a rectangular image where the width is larger than the height of the image. Starting with Gallery A every other gallery will be a landscape style but a different ratio. This example is a 2:3 ratio: at at the begining of each gallery will be an explanation of what the ratio means for that gallery. In this . case the choice is an acrylic Covered Print
To the right of the image will appear the menu for seeing the option for purchasing a product. Under Dale arts in large print you will see the image number and name in large print. Under that is a SKU code (008-8-X 860) which is very specific for each product. Next under "Styles" is the kinds of products that this photo can be placed on and under that is "Size"s avalaible for the ratio of this image. Not all products can be made to every size listed and if you choose a style and a size and the button to add to cart says unavaiable, it means that that style of product cannot be made to that size by my printshop due to fragility problems.
First you choose the style then the standard size. In this case I chose a style acrylic-faced photo and size 8 inches by 12 inches. The first price has a stroke through it. This is the price you would pay at Fine Art America website* for this style and size of product and beside it is Dale Arts price. By the way the artist at that Fine Arrt America site got $5.00 of the $108.48 price tag. Doesn't matter the size, only $5.00 for each sale that FAA charges goes to the artist. Who is getting rich here and why the huge difference with our price? Price gouging by gallery curators, promotion staff, their printshop and marketing department. On top of that your art is curated and if not to their taste you join the other 4 million artists in your category to compete with their chosen few who do what to be chosen ( fancy the curators' taste, paid more to a promotor, have a friend there?) we do not know but you have to sell a lot of art at $5 a pop to make a living. Most large sites do this kind of offer for a free gallery. You are enriching the big corporations and art galleries take 50% to 70% of the tag price or more. Look for the new Dale Arts App coming early next year to Google Play or Apple Store where 90% of the tag price will go to the artist who fulfils his order at very much lower production cost and no curating of your work. More about that as time gets closer to the Apps being ready.

0014-Rooftops of Sarlat, France. Sarlat de la Caneda (goose) is the home of foie gras that expensive pate made from goose livers and this town is in the middle of goose country. Situated in the Dordogne region of France where the 100 years war (1337- 1453)bought the British down to the high cliffs over the Dordogne river where they built tall castles with high turrets and below the French build provencal Maisons and castles too. This town is typical of 13th century housing with homes interconnected with narrow streets between. From above on the high hill above the town, the maze of tiled roofs is a template of textures and tones yellow and browns. Fun to capture and create.
